If anyone in local 118 feels that the present union administration is abusing their power and position, by under representing or misrepresenting the members of this fine local, you must contact this investigator for the IBT, Tom Schatz. There are many problems with the way that the present leadership are doing things, blackballing, not representing members and just plain ignoring problems as retribution for the recent history of the local, just to mention a few. Please contact this gentleman if you have had any issues or seen any that you feel are not in the best interests of our members.

Through a very reliable source I have learned that this gentleman can and will help, he has the authority to investigate improprieties all the way up to the top leadership, Hoffa himself.

I have a question? If the union ran a corrupt election, why now investigate the same people they helped get elected? Could it be the investigator is part of the general council 25, digging for information. I would advise all members to google Tom Schatz and check out the people blackballed and charges filed with Hoffa himself. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Members, let us not be fooled into believing that the IBT has the members of the 118 in their best interest. They helped rig this Election ! Please take the time to Google this person before giving up any info to this man. I agree with js118, sounds to good to be true, I hope I am wrong! Why now has this name came to the surface ? Why has this guy not been contacted by anyone in our local before, with all the **** that has gone on the last couple of years ?

I contacted Tom Schatz in 2008 with information
about what Toole was doing to the Local
and he said there was nothing I could do and
he couldn't do anything for me. I wouldn't
trust him. Just my opinion.

Hey Folks, Unfortunately Sharon Johnson is right. Tom Schatz is no better than, Ed Keyser, John Schmitt or the IBT Attorney Gary Witlen. For some strange reason they are all in Toole's Corner. That's why it's a good thing the RTTF Slate retained the Services of Attorney Scott DeLuca. The IBT and 118 ain't gonna do **** till they get sued.

I called Tom Schatz about a problem at Local 237. He told me that “He is not their keeper, and does not care what they do”. 187 K to do nothing. Nice job.
